TECH CENTER - BOLT / LUG PATTERNS

A vehicle's bolt pattern (also called a lug pattern) describes how many bolts/lugs are on each hub, and how far apart they are from one another.

For a wheel to fit on your vehicle, its holes must be drilled in the same fashion as the vehicle's bolt pattern.

For example, a commonly used bolt pattern is 4 X 114.3.  This means that the vehicle's hub has four bolts, which measure 114.3 millimeters apart from one another diagonally.  As shown below, the distance between lugs is measured differently depending on the number of bolts/lugs being used.

NOTE: The distance is measured from the center of each lug/bolt.

When you order with Wheel Max, you can always be sure to recieve wheels with the correct lug pattern for your vehicle.
